About the event
A recently completed 3-year initiative in Colorado led to the largest place-based impact investing effort in the United States. More than 80 new impact investors were identified and activated, supporting some 550 efforts.
Impact Finance Center Founder and Executive Director Dr. Stephanie Gripne will outline the strategy they used to identify these high net worth donors and secure commitments – and how they hope to partner with the NYS CDFI Coalition to roll out a similar program in New York State.
We know that minority and disadvantaged entrepreneurs get less business financing, less often, and at higher rates. Impact Finance Center is exploring how investors can bridge this funding gap in New York State with an Investor Club in 2021.
